Cyndi Milenski   MSHP, President / Owner

 

Cyndi has been in long-term care for over 25 years. She has been the principal owner and President of Cornerstone Health Services Group since October 2003. She joined the company (formerly Preston Health Care) in 2000 as a member of the executive team with minority ownership. She has experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health and both adult and child care.

 

Cyndi has worked in every aspect of management from acquisitions to daily operations. The Eden Alternative 10 Principles have guided her leadership for the past 12 years since she became an Eden Associate in 1998. In 2009 she became an Eden Educator.

 

Cyndi has a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Cyndi is a member of the Jackson Chamber of Commerce and has been a member of the Tennessee Health Care Association’s Government Relations Committee for the past 6 years.

Ward Milenski   Vice President

 

Ward has been with Cornerstone Health Services Group for 6 years in the capacity of Vice President. He has focused systems compliance and environmental services.

 

He has a background working for municipalities in the water and wastewater field. He has been able to utilize that experience with the homes with meeting regulatory compliance and managing the wastewater system for one of the homes.

John T. Simonton   Vice-President / Owner

 

John has over 17 years experience in the healthcare field. He joined Cornerstone Health Care, previously Preston Health Care, in October 1999. He has worked with both privately held and publicly traded multi-facility organizations.

 

John holds a B.S. degree in Biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN and a B.S. degree in Business from Lambuth University in Jackson, TN. John has been an Eden Alternative Associate since 2008.

Kathy Kyle   Vice President of Finance

 

Kathy is a certified public accountant with over 8 years of public accounting experience in the areas of financial accounting, auditing, budgeting, tax preparation and Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting. After a career in public accounting, she found her niche in the healthcare industry. 

 

For the past 10 years she has worked in the long-term care industry, where she oversees the financial operations and reimbursement of Cornerstone Health Care. She also oversees the budget process and management of the accounting staff.

 

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. She is also an Eden Alternative Associate.

 

Linda Hill   RN, NHA, Resource Director of Compliance

 

Linda has worked in the long-term care industry for 20 years, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1990. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997 with a B.S in Nursing.

 

Her goal to be a Director of Nursing was achieved in 2001 with Preston Health Care at Palmyra Health Care. She went through the Administrator in Training program in 2005 to become a licensed nursing home administrator.

 

She became the administrator of Palmyra Health Care in 2006 through March 2008. At that time she became the Resource Director of Compliance. Since she has both her RN and NHA licensure, she can be an interim director of nursing or administrator if any of the Cornerstone facilities needs her services. She has been an Eden Alternative Associate since 2006

Ryan Myracle    MSSW, LNHA

Resource Director of Marketing and Elder Services

 

Ryan has over 11 years experience in Eldercare and received his Bachelor’s of Social Work from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN and his Master’s of Science in Social Work from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN.  He is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a Qualified Activities Professional in the state of TN.

 

Ryan has been a  Certified Eden Alternative Associate since 2003 and is currently a Certified Eden Alternative Educator, Certified Eden at Home Trainer, and Eden Mentor.  He is also active in the Northwest Tennessee Area Council of Health Care Social Workers, Tennessee Health Care Association, and the Tennessee Eden Alternative Coalition

Pam Carroll   RN, BSN, C-NE, RAC-CT,

Resource Director of Compliance

 

Pam has 35 years of healthcare experience. She began her career in healthcare working part-time in a local physician’s office while in high school. She has 15 years of experience in long-term care and has served as a Director of Nursing, MDS Coordinator and Quality Assurance Nurse. She also has experience in the acute care setting, including Med-Surg, Labor and Delivery, and ER, and also served as Director of Nursing in a rural community hospital. In addition, Pam has also worked in a physician’s office, public health department and taught nursing classes on the high school and college levels. She attended Freed-Hardeman College and received her Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing from Union University. She has been an Eden Alternative Associate since 2008.
